Photos is a private library for your pictures and videos. Only people in your Terrarium household can open it, and each of them gets a library of their own.
Sign in
Open Photos from your Terrarium dashboard. You are signed in with your Terrarium account, so there is no separate password to make or remember.
Upload your photos
- Open Photos on your computer
- Drag pictures and videos onto the page, or click Upload at the top and choose them
- Leave the tab open until the uploads finish
Each new photo takes a few minutes to get its previews. Until then it may show as a blank square, and a large upload takes longer. If you close the tab before the previews are done, they finish the next time you open Photos.
Photos does not have a phone app yet, so for now uploads come from a computer.
Find a photo
Your library is sorted by the day each photo was taken, newest first. Drag the bar on the right side of the page to jump to a year or a month.
The Map page shows where your photos were taken, if the camera recorded it. Search finds photos by file name, and its filters narrow the results by place, date or camera.
Albums
An album collects photos without moving them, so one photo can sit in several albums. Open a photo, or select several, and choose Add to album.
To share an album with someone in your household, open it and choose Share, then pick their name. They find it under Sharing and can add their own photos to it.
Deleting
A deleted photo goes to Trash for 30 days, and you can restore it from there. After 30 days it is gone for good.
